"The investment paid for itself and more in just 3 days!"
Who: Tyler Kammers. Area Director, Lewis-Clark Valley
Problem: Needed to tell the story of what Young Life is doing in the border towns of Lewiston, ID and Clarkston, Wa. As a 3rd year area director and needing to secure new funding and church partnerships, Tyler needed a tool that shows what Young Life is and how it works in the area.
Types of videos: We suggested an Overview Impact Video with multiple versions that featured different Calls to Action at the end for different audiences.
Audience: People who don't know about Young Life. Churches, Banquets, Fundraising, & Events.
Deadline: Need for an April 21st Auction. Filmed April 7th-10th, Edited and ready for viewing by April 14th.
Include Area Uniqueness: Teacher staff on the reservation. Student leadership group. Next gen leader. Young Lives.
Success: They showed the video before they did a Raise the Paddle Auction to send kids to camp,
and brought in over $13,000 in campership.
"We have never hit that amount before in a raise the paddle. " - Tyler
It was played at a church, and with some stage time to talk about Young Life. The video was well received. Brought in over $1000 from that alone.
"I can’t thank [Ashley] enough for capturing this ministry so well in our community." - Tyler
